Da Wire & THE RIP PIECE: MSU vs. UM
From: Roy Pierce aka THE RIP PIECE
After watching the UM-ND game AND the MSU-ND game, I’ve come to this opinion. MSU looked better than UM did vs ND and it was at ND. A W is a W and I love that my boys in Blue beat ND, but I’m still thinking UM is going to struggle down the stretch… although I do not want them to win and I am disappointed with MSU thus this season.

How did you come up with that opinion? ND was without their other stud receiver from part way through the second quarter through the end of the game, and still got torched for over 300 yards passing. Not to mention they allowed the running back to run for over 100 yards. MSU’s running game is nonexistent they are too one dimensional. They got beat by a spread attack in CMU and that was a passing spread offense. They got beat by ND without one of their best receivers. I said it once and I will say it again, ND’s receivers Floyd and Tate are probably the best WR tandems UM will face all year. Clausen and Darrell Clark are the best QB’s that UM will face all year. Everybody else has there faults MSU’s receivers don’t scare me, Iowa has struggled, they will beat Indiana this week. I honestly think Michigan has a real chance of getting through the big ten with 1 to 2 loses. They have Penn state at home but I still think they lose that one. But the other Lose could come against OSU, but Pryor can’t throw worth a hill of beans. Remember OSU struggled against the option with navy. Now Michigan doesn’t run that type of option but they do run some form of option. Unless Forcier gets hurt UM will be good down the stretch.

Type-O on my part... I do not want UM to struggle down the stretch, I want them to win.
