That's it. He can't cover anybody and he is not intimidating anybody. He has ZERO BALL SKILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did anybody ever think the reason why he makes so many tackles because he is not versatile enough to play anywhere but near the line of scrimmage? Who is our backup quarterback? Don't tell me that the Sergio Kindle is a better fit as a 3-4 linebacker. MAN, I would have took Tobey Gerhart over him!!!!!!!! Oh and by the way, the Saints passing on TCU linebacker Daryl Washington. He was nobody. He was just one of the top prospects at his position and the leading tackler on the top-ranked college defense in the nation last season. That's it.........
Do we think we can honestly create all those turnovers again without upgrading a weakness the Saints have had since 2006!!!!!???????? What about the 21st ranked rush defense? When are we going to address that? I guess the saints are loaded so much they can afford to take "The Cornerback" in the first round. Are you serious? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
He has suspect closing speed and that concern was validated because he ran a 4.5 at the combine. He did run faster at the pro day but doesn't everybody. He is small and looks even smaller on his college film so imagine how small he will be against NFL receivers. I watched all the videos and most of his highlights were just making tackles. Where is his batted balls or interceptions? He will get destroyed in jump ball situations by 75% of NFL receivers. He played in the very low talent ACC where their teams went 3-4 in bowl games. Also, one thing that is not be mentioned is that Robinson has character issues. Remember that he was one of the Seminole players caught up in an academic scandal that resulted in him being suspended at the end of his sophomore year and the beginning of his junior campaign. So this means he is either a knucklehead or he is just dumb. Either way, it's bad.
He ain't...... Yes, I said ain't...........HE AIN'T getting in the game over Greer and he damn sure ain't getting in the game over Porter. Assuming that they both stay healthy, we wasted a first round pick on a nickle back.............WAIT....... FOR TWO YEARS IN A ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How many nickelbacks can you name that makes a meaningful impact on any NFL team? Wait, JUST name one nickelback in the league PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only way I will calm down if they sign Sharper. There is no way to spin this as good if your goal is to repeat NEXT YEAR!!!!
