That loss took all of the wind out of my sails, man. Just when I thought they were on to something, they go and blow up like that. I have to write them off again for the 5th year in a row. And you know what they say, once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, three times is a TREND. Ughh. I guess 6 times (it's been 6 years now) means your team just sucks!
I was all excited about writing up an article about my experience in Oakland, and that loss just shot that all to hell. I've actually been looking forward to basketball season because of this. I see that my Suns came back from behind to beat the Clippers last night. I'm probably a bigger University of Arizona Wildcat basketball fan though, so I'm anxious for the college hoops season to get going.
Other than that, I have to take joy in watching the teams I hate lose. LOL!
